Call for Papers: Reviews and Interviews (ISSN 3110-9101)

About the Journal 
The journal Reviews and Interviews (RI) is a peer-reviewed academic publication dedicated to fostering critical dialogue and intellectual exchange in the humanities and social sciences. Published biannually, RI features rigorous book reviews, in-depth interviews with leading scholars, and thematic forums that reflect the latest research and debates across disciplines. Our mission is to bridge scholarly work with broader intellectual communities by offering incisive analysis and diverse perspectives.

Scope and Focus
We invite contributions from scholars in fields including but not limited to: 
- Literature, Linguistics, and Media Studies
- History, Philosophy, and Cultural Studies 
- Sociology, Political Science, and Anthropology 
- Education, Psychology, and Law 
- Economics, Geography, and Area Studies 

Types of Contributions
- Book Reviews: Critical assessments of recent scholarly publications (monographs, edited volumes, or significant translations). Reviews should contextualize the work, evaluate its arguments, and discuss its contribution to the field. Contributions offering original and insightful commentary on classic works are also welcome.
- Scholar Interviews (5,000-15,000 words): Conversations with established or emerging researchers about their work, intellectual trajectories, and current projects. Proposals for interview subjects are welcome.
- Thematic Essays (5,000-10,000words): Articles that review multiple books with a shared theme or debate, offering synthetic analysis and new insights.
- Forum Responses(1,000-3,000words): Short commentaries onpreviously published articles in RI, to encourage ongoing discussion.

Submission Guidelines 
- Submissions must be original, unpublished work. 
- Manuscripts should be submitted in English or Chinese, accompanied by an abstract (150-300 words) and 3-5 keywords. 
- Use MLA citation style.
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
